We believe in recognising and celebrating student achievements across all areas. Students earn points for positive behaviour, academic effort, and participation in activities. These points contribute to individual rewards in the ClassCharts shop as well as collective celebrations such as our fantastic Wheel of Wonder Assemblies. Each week, students who demonstrate exceptional effort receive Student of the Week in different subject areas and teachers ring home to celebrate progress and positive attitude.
We also run an annual Evening to Celebrate Achievement where students are recognised for their achievements in academic subjects, sports, and personal growth. Our assemblies cover a wide variety of themes that promote personal growth and values. Students attend assemblies with their year group each week, but we also hold special virtual assemblies for whole school events. For example, during Anti-Bullying Week, we hold assemblies with interactive discussions and guest speakers from national charities. Assemblies help foster a sense of community and shared values.
